rGroups

The overall vision of REVO Church is to spark a revolution of life change through Jesus.  Every aspect of our ministry here in Winston-Salem is focused on accomplishing that vision, and rGroups are no different.

rGroups will accomplish the vision of REVO Church by making disciples that make disciples.  We want to see people move along the following path: person that doesn't know Christ becomes a Christian who becomes a disciple who becomes a disciple maker.

We can evaluate the success and progression of our rGroups by looking at our core values:

1. Love Big - rGroups provide the opportunity for bible study, accountability, community, and service.  These different aspects help us to love God and love people effectively by studying, living, and applying God's Word to our lives.

2. Serve Hard - Once a month rGroups will have the opportunity to serve the city together.  We will post monthly service opportunities on our website that you can choose to participate in.

3. Live Bold - It's our desire to see our groups growing numerically.  Growth will be a result of inviting people to Jesus, to REVO, and to your rGroup. Making disciples means reproducing yourself and your group to make more followers of Jesus.  Expansion and forming other groups from your group is a good indicator that you are making disciples.

4. Grow Deep - Discipleship is a huge need in churches today.  rGroup participants should be growing in their faith, being hearers and doers of the Word, and being challenged to grow deeper in their relationship with God.

5. Move Forward - We desire for our groups to be moving forward in their life.  rGroups help set the standard when it comes to giving financially to REVO and serving as a volunteer on Sunday mornings.   They are bought into the vision and work hard to see it realized in this city and to see lives changed by Jesus.
